Our Mission & Strategic Plan
Our Mission:
MainStreet of Fremont exists to improve the quality of life in Fremont by strengthening the historic downtown as the center of the community. The purpose of MainStreet of Fremont is to encourage, promote, and support downtown Fremont's economic vitality, as well as the image and appearance of downtown.
Our Strategic Plan:
Our Board and Staff spent two days in a workshop with an outside consultant from Parlay Consulting Firm, Inc. to help us develop goals and a Strategic Plan in 2024. These goals are guiding us through 2027 at which point we will revisit the plan and make needed changes to continue to keep our work aligned with our mission.
Partners & Sponsorships
As a nonprofit we are public and privately funded. We have a contract for services with the City of Fremont and the Business Improvement District #1 (BID #1). We also rely on our partners support to host free and open to the public events throughout the year. Their support funds our events, projects, and programs that help us to achieve our goals!
